This place held up to it's name, alright. It was a chain of caverns that echoed every possible noise that could be uttered. Lost whispers... What a title, and how fitting, Luciel thought. She pondered if there was any chance wolves had died in here, lost perhaps, and their whispers were what might have named this place. Soft cries for help, forever flitting through the caves desperate searching for an exit that might never come. Though to some the thought might be morbid, to Luciel, it was completely delicious. She compared this place to one of her old land, remembering she had played many tricks in places like this. Turning her voice hollow, allowing it to weave through the caves in tendrils that might strangle fearing victims. She smiled reminiscently at that memory, her eyes closing a moment. Opening them again, she took a paw step into the place and instantly felt a chill in her spine that made her shiver with delight. Times like this she must never take for granted.

For awhile she wandered the caves, however was careful to stay in the shallows of it to where she could see the light to the evening. She wasn't stupid, no. She would not go wandering into some place with a reputation as evil as this one blindly. She would take her time, for patience was sometimes, and only sometimes, one of her virtues. Memorizing the first few tunnels of the cave was easy, but when the sun finally whispered its goodbye beyond the horizon she decided she would wander to the moonlight, allowing her body to shimmer wondrously in the dim lighting. And, of course, be closer to that which she loved most; darkness.

The light of the moon truly blessed Luciel, for it made her appear even more ethereal, more like a goddess than just a queen. And those eyes, they reflected the stars so brilliantly that the icy azure blue seemed more deep, as though it were the clearest ocean.

A deep sigh escaped black lips as Luciel allowed her paws to gracefully carry her with the wind, the breeze twisting between every folicle of her pelt making it seem as though she had a godly like stance. Thus night fell on it's queen... Luciel murmured to herself, proudly. To others, she would sound so full of herself. Yet, they would never understand; darkness and her, why they were truly linked in some ways and truly bent their will for the other. It was beyond comprehension for most, but there was no other explanation for the nature of the vixen's heart.

He wasn't a big cave fan. He'd woken up in them one day and figured he must have stumbled through the mouth and into the tunnels at night while he was..blind. Blind drunk, maybe. Probably just blind, though. The aging lawyer didn't see all that well anymore. Bit of a problem.
There wasn't anything to see in here, anyway. He didn't know how long he'd been wandering around in the dark. He wasn't even, sometimes, really sure that these were caves. He might just have gone blind for all he knew. Maybe drank the wrong thing.
Shit happened. Especially to him.
He stumbled around for who knew how long. There was plenty of water, but after a while he started to get hungry - that was how he knew it had been more than a day or two since he'd gotten lost. Then the headaches came on again. They were pretty common for not eating for a couple days. Then the hallucinations.
Accidentally getting dried out had probably caused those.
This was a special one, though. He had been seeing bats and beetles in the walls and one time a shadowy shape with lantern eyes. Everyone saw shit like that. The current one was so strange that he'd sat down to watch it for a few minutes, eyes catching the light.
the light.
He was pretty far gone after all. He hadn't even realized that the cave opening was right in front of him. Had it always been there?
Probably not. Too cliched.
All in all, if he was crazy enough to not notice that he had been staring at the evening light coming through the mouth of the cave, he was probably just imagining the other wolf that was now slinking around, steadily getting closer and closer to him. Yeah, that was probably it. No reason to say anything, then. He stayed seated in the back of the cave (maybe he'd been staring at the wall the entire time, crazily imagining that he was walking in circles. That might explain a few things. Now that he'd sobered up and turned around he could see that there was not much room for someone to wander around for long. Unless, of course, he was still hallucinating. No way to be sure.)
This was a new low, even for him.

The dawning evening kept bringing more and more peace of mind to Luciel. She felt no tiredness, none at all. Instead, revitalized- yes, that explained well how she felt under the cool moonlight. She was finding this place, Traum, much to her liking. Though it would never compare to her homeland, Galador, she still felt here she could find a foundation. And, she was already getting somewhere, for Luciel had a pack now. Though love was something she wouldn't feel again after Vespertillio, she still felt confident that here she could make a life.

Under the moon in this moment, something caused Luciel to turn around as her hackles stood slightly on edge. She took a moment, glaring into the caves, and closed her eyes- took a deep breath and damnit! how could she have missed that? There was a scent- faint but there no doubt. Her eyes opened, and now diluted rage filled the azure, and she almost thought to just run in there and tear away at flesh. However, Luciel was smarter than that. See, she liked her mind games, and mindless killing was no way to ensure that happened.

So, to start with, Luciel looked up at the moon with both anger and adoration in her eyes at that moment. From her chest, she let a deep growl swell there for a moment, growing bigger and bigger. Than, she snapped her head up and allowed it to transform into a mighty howl that shook her whole body. It lasted one second, two, three- it went on for a few moments after that. And when she stopped, she let her head fall as she caught her breath- then her eyes looked back to the cave, and they were glowing.

She put a grim smile on her black lips as she allowed the words to roll off her tongue with easy. Might you come out from hiding, coward? An accusation, of course. That was purely in her nature- but so was the taunting, the mocking, to make others angry. She was an instigator, and that, she might be cursed to forever be.
